The Journey called Life



 


The only thing constant in life, is change. No matter how much you try to avoid change it will still catch up with you. Change is evolution. Evolution is getting you to a higher consciousness of yourself, in body, mind & soul. If you are on the spiritual path, these changes can be turbulent for many of us.
Questions will come up. Questions to which, we have the answers but do not want to, or seem to acknowledge. We tend to veil ourselves to not see the truth. The absolute truth that lies deep within us.
When you walk this path towards a higher consciousness, lessons will be brought to you. The Universe will test your strengths and make you face your weaknesses. The decisions you make when faced with these situations will eventually pave the path ahead for you. You create your own reality based on the decisions you make.
Some decisions are easy, they will not disrupt your comfort zone. But some decisions will spin you out of your safety zone and bring you plummeting through emotions and experiences that you might not want to handle right now, but you are pushed to handle immediately.
This is where, all your beliefs, your ego, your perceptions, whatever you were clinging onto just falls apart. The truth is shoved right in front of you and if you choose to ignore this truth, you will go through this same situation again and again. If you do choose to accept this truth, than you will grow and reach the spiritual heights that your soul is aiming for.
This truth might make you choose a path less travelled. Far from loved ones and from friends, towards new frontiers, new relationships and new friends. When its time to let go of the old, and to shed all those layers that is holding you back, this period will be extremely difficult, but this is where you have to show resilience and know your Self- worth. We are all born into this world alone and when we go, we will go alone, so whoever comes and goes, are all there to give you the experience called life. Accept this truth and move on.
This journey of facing your truth is sometimes the most difficult part of our lives. The doubts, anger, pain, incomprehension, uncertainties might hinder your progression if you are not ready for the path ahead.
But if you accept what comes as the most beautiful lesson of your life, you will reach the place called, Home. A Home where the One above resides and is waiting patiently for you to return.

    Thanks Sajita, for your words of strength and light. It really speaks to me and feels like it's all about me. At the same time, the mere fact that you wrote this proves that this is something for more of us, something we cannot avoid. If we cannot avoid it, then we must face it gracefully. I like your idea of HOME. What a warm place, I really appreciate it.

Love of a child

  This morning I was out running and I came across this mother cycling and seated behind her was her maybe 15 month baby girl. One of the prettiest baby girl I have seen. Her mum cycled past me but this child kept looking back at me so I waved at her. Once, twice, no answer. But the third wave had her answering back with a shy smile and a cute little wave. Than I blew her a flying kiss and she did the same back to me. She was all smiles and there was so much innocence and love in her gesture. This little angel made my day today. If only all humans can remain child like forever. Or have a child inside them which pushes them to be spontaneously loving and not doubting anything when you want to show love. I took her as my sign for today from the ONE above and my heart is filled with so much gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
